Job Description:

We are looking for someone who is available the beginning of May through the end of September. Your duties would include driving slowly through area neighborhoods with music playing, as well as, loading the truck with products daily, filling the gas tank each evening, making daily deposits, reordering products for the next day, and keeping the truck clean and orderly. You must have a valid driver’s license, be highly motivated, and good at dealing with people. We need someone who is going to be responsible and trustworthy, as well as, dedicated to sticking out the job through the entire summer. The hours are very flexible with students' and teachers' schedules while classes are in session. The hours are from 11:30am till dusk on the weekends and mid to late afternoon till dusk on the weekdays. The pay is straight commission, but to give you a rough estimate, our drivers in the past two years have averaged $10 to $18 an hour.

Skills required:

   - Ability to handle money and make change, as well as, use a calculator

   - Must be able to get up and down frequently

   - Lift and carry boxes of ice cream from storage and stock the truck

   - Good communication skills with children and adults

   - Comfortable with driving a fair sized truck (basically a smaller version of a UPS truck)
